does anyone know if a cb650 crankshaft will fit a cb550 cases

             This subject has been hit on before and from what I remember, You could nearly put the 650 innards inside the 550 crankcase. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.  Later on, Bill

Ted Hayes, one of our antipodean friends (|Auzzy) races a 500 with 650 inards. I have tried to attach his word document sent to me but if it aint worked tough
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

Thanks Mike, only cos i sent Ted a crank and cylinders once, Charged him the shipping at cost, £90 (OUCH) didnt care about the bits they came in a job lot of 500 stuff!
