'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

Never seen proper expansion chambers before Steve..?   That would handle 10 times better than a stocker....

Oh I have seen them before ....and much better looking ones than these.  The proportions just make them look "odd". :D

@ Noparadise

My dulux and cash bike just won ” best in show” at the Ace cafe streetfighter show, it’s also had a studio photo shoot today and you will be able to see it on the cover of streetfighter magazine in October.

How many bikes have you built from scratch that won best in show and been on mag covers?

Whats your point, not everyone is skilled enough or has the tools to do everything themselves, its more about his vision, he got what he wanted, i read his build thread a while ago but can't actually remember how much he actually did himself. I find the "cafe's"that wear all Benji's stuff far less interesting than that build.

i very much doubt that this will handle as well as the original kawasaki . unfortunately a large pile of top quality parts does not automatically make a great bike ,  the relationship between the swing arm pivot  the front sprocket and the rear axel on this should bollocks up any hope of good handling  .

Well maybe he got a deal on all the skills, but if not there's Ducati, KTM, and plenty of other bikes in the custom built price range that are spectacular.

Simon, you ever ridden a H2 mate..?   They handle like a pig, i mean seriously..!!! They weren't named the "widow maker" for nothing.  I have ridden 3 over the years, i had a friend that collected them, all were pristine bikes and they all handled like sh1t, they go like a scolded cat but do everything else poorly, actually, if you braked hard enough the friggin pipes touched the front wheel..... :o  That bike would easily out handle the stock H2.

Here's the build thread for anyone thats interested....

Lots of cuts  and weld on the exaust headpipes, maybe it's a good arc and mandrel and all but lots of work that seems like it coud be bent a better proper arc instead of so much welding.

I like the look of the triples I saw at the races with a monoshock cobbed under the tank on the original frame better than this one.

know exactly how they handle retro [ and your right they do leave a lot to be desired ] i raced one in the 70's [ with a stock frame ]  till someone lent me a tz 750 , oddly the kawasaki handled better than the seeley suzuki it replaced .
my point was it doesn't matter how good the quality of parts you use on a project if the frame geometry is wrong it wont work . this one is wrong , built for looks over function [ as most specials seem to be ]

the pipes are actually very well done they cant be bent in an arc as two stroke header pipes are tapered , cutting and welding is the most accurate way to do it [ the other way is to blow the front pipe  ]

Ok i see what you are saying, i will still "beg to differ" though on this one, stiffer frame, stiffer forks and swingarm and better wheels and overall suspension, i think dialed in that this should handle well or at least a lot better than the original....  Did the Seeley Suzuki have a Seeley frame, those old Suzuki's {2 stroke} didn't handle much better than the old Kwaka's..... ;)

yes the seeley suzuki did have a seeley frame , it was awful we tried everything to try and make it turn eventually did a deal with a 500 just to see the back of it . the bloke that bought it was convinced it was the way we were setting it up, unfortunately he crashed it and was killed . the only worse bike i have ever ridden was a foal tz 350 but that is another story .
