Pulled the contents of my frame triangle to clean it all up and spot paint it. I'll post more pics as I get it all sorted.

Oh yeah! Thanks for looking BTW. I really think this bike is a diamond in the rough. I dont have the money or time yet to do a full resto on this one so I'm doing what I have to to keep her decent for now. All of the rubber parts are in real good shape , still flexible and ready to wash with dish soap and reinstall. As a matter fact the only casualty from removing all of this stuff was one air box to frame mounting grommet.

It's ok ... It's coated with por15 or kreem, not sure which. I run inline filters. I recently had a tank chem dipped and red koted, time will tell how it holds up.

Not many pics from this morning, my hands were busy. I'm swapping the rear tires from the two 360's. The one I call "alpha" has a super nice wheel and a ghetto tire and "ida" has a decent wheel and an almost new Kenda Challenger . I took them to a shop "Cadre Cycle", $60.00 seems fair. They were the only ones who would remove and remount used tires. We live on a world of lawyers and accountants.

I'd love to swap frames or put the best pieces from both bikes on my empty 360 frame but I know that if I pull everything off of either frame I'll run into more expense than the $60.00 to swap out the two tires.

I got the wheel on and part of my electrics back in the bike. I have a Hondaman ignition that I plan to install as part of this project. Tentatively I plan to mount the magic box to the bottom side of my battery box.

My last project bike was a 360T, but that was over 4 years ago, so your pictures are making me all nostalgic. I really need to get another project bike!

I thought I could get my Hondaman ignition on the bottom side of my tool box but it was banging into the swing arm on my mock up.
I painted 3 of 4 air box pieces. Really happy with them, not a ton of prep so there is some surface pitting but the paint went on nice with no drips. The battery box and tool box weren't as nice but they were both very rusty and got a heavy coat of rust reformer as primer.
I washed all of my rubber parts, all amazingly nice for 37 year old parts. This bike sat at Western Hills Honda for years in a climate controlled storage room. I'm working tonight and tomorrow so my paint will have plenty of curing time.

You've been doing a superior Job on that CB360T

! Is that rattle can paint? what brand of top coat did you use ? I had a CB360T exactly the same(75'?)as yours back in the mid 1980's.I recently purchased a 72' CB350K4 twin in almost similar cond. as your CB360..except for it having plenty of front end damage & a bent frame.I had the frame straightened and fresh parts installed myself on the front end and she's finally on the road and running great...just in time for this Excellent Spring weather

It's good 'ole rustoleum, I used thier rusty metal primer then gloss black enamel. The air boxes look real nice the battery box and tool box are a little rougher, they were really pitted. They got the rust reformer treat meant and more rustoleum gloss black.

I worked on my 650 oil pump tonight until the sun went down and I couldn't see in the warehouse. Then I went in my shop and glued the rubber boots onto the crossover on my battery box. The stuff was all very neatly sealed with rubber sealant from the factory. I bought permatex black rubber sealant to give it all the same treatment. I was getting ready to take a pic of this step and the power went out in the building.
Look real close you can see in in there somewhere.

That's what I'd call really "working in the dark"

...I've done it before..w/ my rubber cased AA flashlight in my mouth.

It's getting there. This part should be done mid- week. One of my air box lids orange peeled on me so it'll need repainted. That and some time for the rubber sealant to dry. Did you reseal you air box rubber? Was it sealed from the factory? Once this is done I'll clean her up a bit more and ride her for the season. It looks real sexy with that big ass tire on the back.

When you ask about the airbox seal...do you mean the tube under the battery box where both filters join into on either side ? My CB350 twin has it that way w/ a rubber seal on either side & yes I re-glued both rubber rings so that the filters fit nice & tight

Well the glue is all set up nicely and I put half of the air boxes back together. I'm real pleased with how it's all going back together.

One thing I'm confused about.... If you look in the second pic from the previous post you can see the wire green with a yellow stripe. There's no corresponding color coded wire for that and the only place it CAN go us the black wire right below it in the pic. The black one is the only "y" under the seat. I know that green should be ground and black is hot but is green with a yellow stripe a hot?

It's idle at this point. I started off with the goal of it running and being ridden last summer but some siezed exhaust flange bolts got in my way. I pretty much left it sitting because I decided to focus in my 650 since it was started first. I'm formulating a plan that involves taking the engine from my basket case 750 (K2 w/ K3 motor) and putting it in my roller, then the K4 engine from my roller would get torn down and rebuilt from the cases up. That being said, money is tight and I'm just now getting to a point in my obsession with this stuff that I can ALMOST focus on one bike at a time.
