« on: March 03, 2013, 10:23:53 AM »
My neice's boyfriend asked me to take this on.
Its been in a container for 8 or sumpin years. "Ran when parked".
Pretty boring looking.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings. Same with 'of' and 'have'. Set and sit. There, their and they're. Draw and drawer. Could care less/couldn't care less. Bought/brought FFS.

It runs! I didn't do anything except drain the carbs, clean the plugs and add fuel.
9000 miles on the clock and the engine sounds sweet.
It still hasn't grown on me though.

Try to get better pictures of the wheels; the snippet of the rear wheel looks like a Henry Abe; maybe this is the source of goldarrow's wheels? What year is this bike?
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!

Its an 80's bike, not quite sure of the exact year yet.
Possibly early 90's
The wheels are marked Honda.
I'll post more pics when I get my camera back.

What's wrong with that then?

That's a pretty cool bike, with the triple discs and all.  Probably be one the best commuter bikes ever.

I used to own an 82 CB450SC (nighthawk) that had a boat load (45k plus!) of miles on it, used a commuter.  It was pretty nimble, and could hold it's own in town pretty well.

It's too bad the single cam 450 is one of the most boring engines ever. :)

Slow speed maneuverability is lacking, feels top heavy.

What you guys are tripping over in Europe is unobtainium over here. You should see the CB450 WE got. >:(
