They were afraid the old Hondas would take over  :)

I'll be leaving the Springs headed for Golden around 6am... if anyone knows of others coming up from the Springs it would be nice to ride along. I'll stop in and ask those at the moto museum here as I think they have gone up for the ride the last couple years.

Moto museum? Can't participate with my Harley and do NOT stop by at 6am. THAT invite doesn't exist  :)

I'm excited so 6am won't feel too early for me. Will probably be cold though. Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Museum... I may call or stop in just to ask if someone has heard plans to head up there. Otherwise, I believe I'll head up I-25 to monument and then take 105 -> 85 -> 470 to Golden. Would rather not take I-25 to Denver so does this sound like a good route? I'll let you wake up and perhaps stop by when I get back to town.

Just rode 105 to Sedalia yesterday. Nice ride! Not as quick as I-25 but get an early enough start and it doesn't matter. Wrap up early. You may need to wrap up later as you head up in elevation.

RMMM? Not sure which/what? At the Harley shop? closed, for rent. I'll likely be at home most of the day in the garage or yard. Kid will be coming home around 6pm.

I'm just a few miles off C470- and Kipling.
Ride by and we can take off together.
My house up Kipling to 32nd and over to Golden.

I'll get up next weekend instead. What mount are you using on your Hero2 for the ride? What size card? I gotta get mine charged up for GZ!

Jerry,
I have a 4 gig and a 32. I mounted the curved hard mount on top of the helmet. I'm trying the suction cup on a side panel.

Paul, I'm heading up in the morning and can stop by your place if the timing is ok with you. I will leave the springs at 6am and should be there around 7:45ish. I have you number and will call if anything unexpected comes up. It rained nearly all day in the springs today so lets hope tomorrow is better in denver. I'll pm you my cell.

I got a 32gb too but did not try it before hand. Not name brand. Works well in my Panasonic camera but the Hero2 does not recognize it. Be sure you try it before you need it. It will outlast your battery. I think I was getting 8gb out of each charge at the full mp setting.

Keith, wave as you go by  ;) I'm sleeping in. I actually worked 5 days this week. I'll be in the garage most of the day if you want to stop on the way back. The kid won't be home until Monday. Have fun.

You nailed it Jerry, Battery died half way through the ride.

PNY. Mine is an off-brand. They warn about that. May try it again though before next weekend. Should get a spare battery, huh?! Please let me know how the mounts and aiming went for you.

Terry, how'd you get separated with such a detailed map?!  :o
Once I noticed some confusion and riders being separated I sped to front right behind Bob. It was a challenge not to lose him at times. I would've been lost otherwise!

Just past Palmer Lake on the way

I enjoyed meeting you Terry, Craig, and Paul! I'll look forward to future rides.

Jerry, I stopped at Dynamic and Tuscany around 4 but wasn't sure where your place is exactly.
