First ride of the year!

Got her out on the road today and it WAS GREAT. Everything works too which is also good. This weather is amazing.

What took you so long?  Even with our "dirt" road, I had the Wing out on March 14, and then on Saturday I took it all the way to downtown TO.  You guys must have got more snow than us!  (Did you also get the pool heater fired-up?)

Must admit that it was only yesterday that I got the battery back into the 350 Four.  It fired right up, but I only rode to the end of the driveway and back a ways into the bush, as I didn't want to get her all dusty on the road.

Serves me right. Until last week, our "dirt" road was a "mud" road.

But it feels nice to be riding again! Nothing fell off either.

My son asked about going swimming but there's a bit of work to do on that still.

Hey guys, I'm all for meeting up sometime too! Maybe Famous Sams? I've been traveling like a mad fool lately, so Goldie's not out of the garage yet, but real soon I hope.  Hey, I heard that one of the CVMG chapters are putting on the "Ganaraska 250" in Port Hope in June, could be fun, I'm considering participating as it's not too far.

Still have a few finishing touches to do, (bolt exhaust back on & mount rear tire) but  my goal is this Sunday at Sam's.  Will update final status on Friday eve or Saturday AM.  Hope to see you there.

The three of us made it to Sam's today.  It was lovely weather.  Didn't get a chance to take a picture of George's bike, but here's mine with Bruce's parked beside it.

Yes there certainly was a good turn out today & fabulous weather, saw everything from a MotoGuzzi LeMans to an Arial Atom!  (& 6 SOHC4's, besides us three members there were 2 Cafee or Cafe? 750s & another stocker 750). Here is a shot of the three member bikes with a '72 350 twin snuck in there too.
