local police officer...doesnt want to work on it any more. Originaly wanted $1000...called me and said come and get it for $500...gotta be out by friday getting a new Harley..  Thanks for the link !

Seriously Great Deal!  I read somewhere that those flat fours were a joint venture with Porsche...that it's really just a shrunk down 912 motor!

Thanks Budlite !    still working on the 550...just mocked up the rear fender...combined the 550 fender with a 450 fender... it also had the swing arm extended 2".

not yet ! Just got the 550 fired up this weekend and took it for a spin around the block. Put a Pamco ignition in....fired right up !   The Goldwing will be next....I'm assuming I'll have to take the carbs off...been sitting for a while, and probably the tank too.

Be sure to check your timing belt(s), as these are interference engines, and a snapped timing belt means new motor time.
