Hi guys,
not sure if I have missed any news on the barrels but I'd love to know if someone has bedded in the rings yet ?  They certainly look tempting.

I am pretty sure Mike is on the verge of starting his engine up if he hasnt already.

It would be awesome if he would post a video of his running engine, even if the bike was on a lift. Just a thought!

I'll get my son to record a clip once the carbs are sorted. I threw them on (RS34's) Sunday just to hear it but the synch was way off and float levels needed adjustment. It was only hitting on 3 so...... ;) This weekend will hopefully be better. ;D The TMR's have cable issues which will require thought. ::) It looks like I would need to fit the pull cable on both sides.

Well.....it's running on the lift. Carbs are balanced and it doesn't sound half bad ;). I'll get #1 son to get a clip Tuesday when he is home from college for his brother's birthday.
To be truthful I have begun work on another engine with more compression and some funky headwork. When I say "started" it means getting the parts.....it is probably 2 years away. At that point I'm going to go over the entire bike and go for a frame up restoration with different paint etc. I have some other ideas as well. ;)
