72 CB350F, what to do?
« on: April 01, 2012, 05:32:16 PM »
Ok, so have this cool little 350F with 7k miles (legit) that I rescued from a car port last year. The paint is faded really bad but the rest of the bike is in fantastic shape baring the triple tree clamp.

Anyways, Im torn what to do with the bike. I like to ride forward on my bikes so Im thinking that I could modify the rig, lighten it etc OR keep it stock and just do a repaint.

What do you guys think? The photo's are from when I first purchased the bike. I have since cleaned the chrome, which turned out great.

Clean it. Repaint it candy bacchus olive, and get new decals.  keep the pipes cleaned and protected from rust...and you'll have one of the coolest fours of them all.  8)

Oh man. Don't modify it please!  I bought two before I knew how great they were and wish I had never made the changes a made. Keep it stock and rude it for a while. You might decide to make performance improvements, but you'll likely decide to keep the stock look. Besides, a 350f with originalpipes is worth around $4k rightnow in good condition.

I love to modify my bikes as much as the next guy (see  builds) but when I buy a nice stock bike i feel better about restoring it then modding it.
