Brought a trailer load of CB750 stuff this week
« on: April 04, 2012, 11:00:14 AM »
Guy decided to stop rebuilding CB750s and wanted to clear everything out to make room for an old pickup restore.  Two complete engines, 1 parts engine, carb set,  frame, fenders, wheels, side covers, 3 seats, lots of misc., even some new parts.

Now to sort it out so I can find things later....

its better to regret something you have done, than something you havent.Except playing with explosives.

Holubs I hate you! >:(
Nice score damn you! ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Contacted him because his parts engine had an undamaged stator cover to replace the ground down cover on the F1 I'm riding.  Said he would make me a deal if I took everything.  It was quite the grab bag of stuff he had scattered out on his driveway when I got there.  I thought $250 was reasonable for the lot.

Will take me a while to get everything off the trailer and sorted out.  Will need t come up with some kind of filing/storage system so I can find things later.  Will let you folks know if I decide to sell some of the excess.

SWEET!!!  Don't recall ever seeing that video of one of my favorite songs.

One of the complete engines I picked up has no part number, guy told me he was told it had a factory replacement case.  The jugs are painted black, but the stator cover is silver, so I need to look into that more to see what it really is.

The other complete engine is marked as a 1976 model, need to check it out too.
