At the end of last season, I tore my 550 apart to rewire it and paint it over the winter. Well, a few days after I tore it all apart, I had to have surgery due to my Crohns disease, so the bike sat all torn apart in the garage for several months while I took it easy on the couch. Well, lately I've been working on it, and I got to the point a few weeks ago where I was ready to try and fire it up. It started, but ran very poorly. It wouldn't idle on it's own, seemed to have a pretty gnarly miss, and was backfiring terribly. So I figured I'd replace my float needles and seats since they leaked anyways, and make sure the jets were clean. Got all that done, fired it up, and it ran exactly the same. So I inspected all my wiring to see if I screwed something up, and I've been racking my brain for the last few days trying to figure out WTF it could be. Well last night, I found it. Lets just say it helps to have your plug wires going to the right cylinders.

Hahaha, I'm such a dummy, but at least I got it sorted out, and it runs great now.
