Thanks Sam. the head would be assembled BUT some issues with the Kibblewhite springs. ::) ::) Long story short...when i assembled Eric's head there were only 7 springs in the bag. I used a spring set from my kit and had Kibblewhite replace it. Unfortunately the spring they sent is .1 taller and has about 19lbs @ 1.380 more than the original kit spring. Not very happy about it.

I took .045 off the head. I wanted 10.5 CR but it comes up 10.3 with a 21cc chamber. Squish is .040 with .027 head and .005 base gasket so that is OK. Block was decked .020 on the CNC machine when it was being made....there is a lot of material to be removed to get some compression out of these engines. I love flat top pistons...the squish gets nice.

Allthough they make great products, they are a little prone to slight F/ups, do you remember that Ti valve cap that was only machined on one side? ;D ;D ;D Talking about F/ups, did you hear that JMC have finally folded. Good riddence. ;D

I certainly do Sam.....that piece was so F'd up....it was awful. That's why I mentioned it. Yeah...JMC....I posted that bit about the "break in" on the board. Not accusing but that was kind of "convenient". ??? ::)

Talking about 1000cc motors, MotoGP just about to start, not sure if it is live but it is a night race under flood lights. 8)

When Mike and I where talking last week I  thought about switching to one of Mikes big bore
blocks and 1000 cc turbo pistons sense my motor is not built yet
all Mike could say was your going to break a lot of very expensive parts

just damn

but that would be interesting if you could build a 1000 turbo and keep an eye on the boost
nothing more than 5-7 Lbs

Pretty sweet Mr Mike, the detail is second to none. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I've seen a bunch of your cool stuff lately. You better retire so you can get out there & ride em all.  ;)
