Speed Bleeder Info
« on: June 06, 2006, 09:10:26 PM »
As I was rebuilding my front end I ordered and installed Speed Bleeders. They make life really good so I thought I'd pass along info. My bike is a 75 CB750F. Single discs front and rear. The bleeders are different sizes on front and rear. The stock front caliper is made by Tokiko in case they should ask. It uses Speed Bleeder SB7100. I got SB7100-SS (stainless steel). This is 7mm threads with 100 pitch threads.  The stock rear caliper is made by Nisshin. It uses Speed Bleeder SB8125. I got SB8125L-SS (L for long by mistake and SS for stainless steel). The L unit works but is slightly longer than stock. The 8 is for 8mm and 125 for thread pitch. They both use 8mm wrenchs. When I called I was asked what size wrench fit the heads. My answer was 8mm. This is irrelavent!! They sent two SB8125L's. They were very nice to send me a replacement right away. The Honda parts lists do not mention the sizes!
