1980 cb650 bobber
« on: April 11, 2012, 09:49:51 AM »
Started tearing apart my old bike to turn it into a fun bobber.  New to this forum and  I will be posting some pics soon so that i can show progress.  I'm going to be picking up some k&n pod filters soon and I was hoping someone on here might have an answer for a rough estimate on what jetting size I should run for open pipes cut off before the muffler and k&n pod filters at sea level.  I wasn't able to find the info anywhere in the FAQ's or anywhere else so anyone with some experience and a ballpark for me to start from so I don't kill my engine by running lean or shoot sludge out by running too rich would be very helpful

running a 79 650 with pods. 125 mains, still has a wee stutter on constant throttle. 650's don't like pods but doable.
