Frame tubing
« on: April 10, 2012, 01:29:32 PM »
What is the size, gauge, etc. of the cb750 frame? As I mentioned in a previous post a while back the PO lopped off the left frame ear so now I'm trying to find an alternative to weld on so I can mount passenger pegs and go two up. I'm thinking if I can find the right steel tubing I can weld it on and paint it flat black like the rest of the frame. Bike is a K6 but I'm assuming the frame remained the same from 69-78.

I have two frames (K1 & F1) that I could cut the passenger peg mount off of, charge you shipping only.  I'll post a pic or two when I get home tonight to verify fitment.

I welded parts from a wrecked F0 to my damaged K0 frame. I know some parts are different but many are the same.
