It has been a hard road but we are finally here. Managed to rent a 40X40 Shop for $375 a month. We stayed until 1:00am and painted the floor battleship gray, I will post more pics later. Off to load up bikes and fill the shop  ;D.

Man, if I could get a shop that big for $400 a month, I'd get 10 friends together and have our own place.  Would be nice to get out of the garage!

Vintage motorcycle parts and vintage bikes

And no on the stargate thing. I just figured that I was resurrecting the dead (motorcycles). So Anubis Cycle was fitting notice it fits on two levels. Cycle being the motorcycle and cycle being life cycle.

Did anyone notice the 6-6-06 thing? Just funny the time and the date worked out. ::)

Congrats Tom!  That new shop of yours wouldn't be located in Hell, MI now would it? I understand they also like the 6-6-06 connotations.  Keep us posted on your progress, looks like a great start.

I wish I had a spare 10 friends  :-[  :-\. I am moving ALL of it alone.  :'( Yep all 100+ bikes and equipment alone. ;) After day 2 here I am so beaten I can barely stand it. Funny there will be another month of this hard work before I can relax. Hard work but worth it.

I guess I never gave the address. 2019 East Main St, Reedsburg, WI.. Funny thing is there is a buddy of mine that runs a cycle/ bicycle service shop right next door. Not a big thing really as we do totally different things. He sells scooters, new bits and all, but I sell super manly vintage cycle parts. Stuff he just can not get from anywhere. Funniest part is that it was his idea that I move in right next to him. For now things are ok. Who knows what the future can bring. I think there will come a time when we cross each other. I think he figured keep your friends close and keep your competing friends closer.  ;D

The only thing better than signage is FREE signage. This stuff is translucent white. Time to remove the old lettering and buff them out and install the vinyl letters. Should be about 3-4 days and the ILLUMINATED signs will be in place. ;D These things are massive. Like 3 by 10!
