My youth is dying increasingly fast.  :'(
Dedicated to Sgt. Howard Bruckner 1950 - 1969. KIA LONG KHANH.

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

Yeah..well..

Was saddened too.  Definitely represented a large part of my youth/pre-hippy years.  However over past 6 years or so..since his stroke..wondered how much longer 'ol Dick would be with us.

Have felt in subsequent years tho..that the whole era (pre-Viet Nam War..certainly since IT communications/awareness)..was a bit naive..if not unaware of larger global affairs..et al.

Still..sad to see Dick Clark gone..if not for nostalgic reasons..but simply because he always seemed like a nice guy..
