I'd almost knocked myself out trying to install a drum brake spring with a pair of dykes, pulling on the spring toward my face  ::) when the pliers finally slipped,  :o busted my lip and all. Good times.

Bummer.

I broke my pinky finger removing the lower triple tree bearing race.  Missed my drift, smoked my hand instead with the hammer.  I'm not one to gloat, but that was some fine, fresh and creative language.

done the same thing almost............................about 15 years ago, road call in middle winter for a tractor trailer with a thrown u-joint.  laying under the truck in freezing water, my hands numb, i dropped the entire ujoint end of driveshaft square in my mouth, breaking all 4 front teeth.
needless to say i gave the boss hell for not having it towed into the shop, and promptly lost my job for it, thus having to pay to have my teeth fixed myself.

When I was somewhere around 4 years old, my Dad got me a BB gun for my birthday or Christmas or something like that.  My Dad then took me outside to show me how to shoot it, and I was so excited to get it, I must have had a big smile on my face when the ricochet from the wood crate target about 25 yards away came straight back and cracked my front tooth.  Not long after that, a frisbee finished the job, and I've had to live with a cap ever since.  Kind of sucks because I always feel like I have to baby that tooth, and so I only have one good tooth in the front to bite through food.

I really hate teeth problems, because they're the only ones we have, and once they're busted or gone, we can never get them back.  :(

I was afraid someone would ask that.

The plunger in the master cylinder loves to stick on these CB's I've learned. Every one I've had. I usually just work it from both ends with a drift, back and forth, and eventually they free up. This time the the drift wedged in the line end. I was pulling as hard as I could with the end pointed right at my face. The rest as they say is... uh... Darwinism?
