oldbikebarn.com ???
« on: April 22, 2012, 12:27:48 PM »
I ordered a gasket set and piston rings from oldbikebarn.com over a week ago and it still says "pending fulfillment". I know obviously I'm going to call them tomorrow but has anyone else ordered from them? Getting a little impatient here

If you check the Bad Sellers section you will see that OBB doesn't have the best reviews here on this forum.

Not cool! Although I started a business when I was 19 and I was actually backordered for the longest time and had to deal with impatient customers so I have some sympathy for a business like that. I doubt he is/they are intentionally trying to rip anyone off. However I was manufacturing a product by myself not just picking it from a shelve and putting it in a box...

My experience with OBB was that they're pretty slow, I got what I ordered but it took a good 3 weeks.

I wish you did bit of research here bout OBB. As far as I know, they are slow and more expensive compared to other stores and got crappy service. I am truly surprised they are still in business to tell you the truth. You could have ordered the gasket & rings from Z1 enterprise http://www.z1enterprises.com/default.aspx instead. They are faster and will not rip you off.

Yeah whoops. I sent them a e-mail threatening to do a chargeback if they do not ship within the next 3 business days, we'll see how that goes

I don't think that will speed up things with these cats, they seem to exist on the round tuit time schedule.

I have ordered from OBB with success in the past, but the thing I hate most about them is that they keep spamming my email.
