Last 2 weeks of May I have some days open as of today. Nothing before then. CB650 has offered the use of his bike again. I've been hurrying but I won't have mine done by then. Close but no cigar. Current open dates 5/20 ; 5/22-24 ; 5/26-27 ; 5/29-30. Work calls keep coming in lately which I can not/do not turn down UNLESS I have planned to ride beforehand.  ;D

We do need Kansas riders. Our core Colorado group should be able to do a stretch or 2 then hand off to Proto who could hand off to Curemode. Didn't realize Nebraska is with us this year. That should make it easier for all. We're still missing Trail Ridge Road unless it's that last week of May! That would make a really nice connection to Proto in Craig.

Just PM'ed eydugstr, pinhead and jamesb of KC and Topeka.

Coke has earned some breathing room and got us a few extra days ahead of schedule. There is also an extra week built into the schedule for the transition from Team Central Rockies to Team Pacific Northwest that can be shifted one to side or the other as necessary and it looks like the Colorado dates are spot on for your available dates Jerry. We are looking good, and that's even with the original start date getting pushed off a week.

There's also another extra week built into Team Northern across the northern plains.

Still working out a schedule with Zeek (OKC) and possibly Coke (ARK).  Looks like maybe we will leave Tulsa afternoon/evening of the 18th or morning of the 19th and connect somewhere up in Kansas later in the day the 19th. Westondc let us know something, and if the central kansas rider can chime in .....great. PM me with your ph# if you want to.                               Thanks, Taxi

The dates should keep us right on schedule looking at the planning map, and should give me time to have the cross thread issue solved so that we don't have to transport GZ on a Kawi or Harley (or even worse a cager or the mail)

Pinhead IS a rider!!  ;)

Shoot us some dates and routes from Nebraska that you think may work. I still gotta get with CB650 about using his bike and he is about 75 miles north from me which could be a good thing for a Nebraska connection. Apex is up there too.

Wish I could answer that. I'm not familiar with the routing or map. Low key approach this year. I was surprised that NE is part of UT, CO, & KS as it's not part of the title. So with that in mind we'd be dependent on the NE leg first and we'd need some detail about that. I don't have my own bike to ride except for my Harley so I'm dependent on that aspect also. The bike is CB650's, it's 75 miles from me and he says he can only ride certain days which do not all coincide with mine. Can't answer for Apex either and I don't know what his schedule might be like. No one else with a SOHC4 has chimed in recently. There are a fair number of Denverite SOHC4's but I'd guess they don't ride?! Westondc, what can you/do you want to do? Sounds like we'll need to make arrangements for SOMEONE to meet you somewhere, sit on it for a bit probably then ride to Proto. I might add that we do not have a coordinator which doesn't help but we'll get it done.

Hello riders. The planning was getting confusing this year because the route changed but we kept the same States/Team Groups and it didn't really follow the map.

Well right now I can't seem to find another Nebraska rider that can ride the weekend of the 19th. I'm in Lincoln NE I have the 18th and 19th open. I could do a meetup/handoff in KS the 19th (somewhere north of Salina or Manhattan?) It would be ideal if I could keep Zilla in Nebraska until the weekend of the 25th and Deceptibong could ride with me to the CO handoff.

If Zilla needs to get to CO the weekend of the 19th.... I could take Sunday the 20th off work, ride HWY 136 to HWY 34 in South Nebraska and meet at CO rider for the handoff near Trenton NE. Theres a lake there I've camped at before on my way to Denver, that way there's a place to camp if things run late. If I could get the handoff in KS on the 18th that would give me more breathing room to get Zilla to the CO rider and make it home in time for work on the 21st.... Let me know what you guys think since i will need to let my boss know if i need the 20th off work

I've PM'ed everyone I could find that expressed interest last year whether they rode or not. It is not necessary to reply to my PM, I'm just hoping that anyone interested will chime in here. We gotta start planning boys! We need SOHC4 bikes and riders. I can only be a riding spectator this year as I do not have a running SOHC4 to ride so do NOT count on me to carry GZ.

Last I knew GZ was in Oz!  Man, I need to follow this a bit closer - thought he was going to destroy/tour Europe instead of USA 2.0!

I was fully rebuilt and ready to go last month but seized my motor in the first five miles due plastic blast media hiding in my oil galley.  So, my motor is in pieces awaiting exhaust guides for the head.

I'm a no go any time soon.

I think with Proto he is pretty close to the Evanston WY hand off and I am pretty close too so I think he just needs GZ to be in Craig like the 29th-31st and he should be able to meet me on the 1st in Evanston.

I'm just throwing this idea out there...

Could taxiscooter, Zeek, Coke and/or Pinhead get Zilla to me on the 19th for the handoff somewhere in Northeastern KS or NE/KS border?

If so, I just put in for vacation from May 24th through 28th (Memorial Day) and if it all works out, Eric (Deceptibog) and Zilla could ride with me from Lincoln possibly all the way to Denver. We would just need someone to pickup Zilla from us in Denver and get it to Craig CO by the 29th - 31st for the handoff to Proto.

I'm in Denver, when would you be arriving here for the hand off?

Not 100% that I'll be able to participate...that all depends on whether I can get my rear brake master cylinder replaced in time. I'd be available on weekends and am off that Monday. Even if I can't get GZ to Craig...I can help along the way or hook up with others for that leg of the trip.

Was hoping to have things in order as I picked up my SOHC right after last year's ride...but this resurrection has been slow going. ;)
