I'll toss up a few pics I snapped while I was walking around.....now that someone else mentioned member 736.....I suppose I had a little chat with him over exhausts and never thought to mention the forum! had no idea I was talking to a fellow member!

reverse trike powered by a cb750 hondamatic

nice goldwing cafe

trail-breaker!

CB550 cafe with nice paintjob, lots of hand-painted details

there were more taken by my partner in crime.....but I don't have access to his photobucket....he did upload them to our Tumblr/Website (GarageSpun.com) but I can't get the IMG code off them for some reason to post here. I've asked him to upload to photobucket so I can put them in here....

It does not look as hot as it was last year. Jake...you have a cute son there and a wife that has the smile of a model. Great pics for sure and thanks for sharing.

As cool as it was, it was still very weak compared to previous years.  We have been going for about 10 years, and there were more empty swap meet spots than I have ever seen.  Also the swap meet vendor overflow lot was empty...

I don't know what it was, but it seemed like bike prices were high, and vendors were missing...

I had a pocket full of money, and nothing got me excited enough to pull it out!!

I also have nothing to compare it too. I was there last year and I have never seen so much stuff for sale. To me it looked like everyone was there that should be there. So what was the weather like this year? Recall last year was almost 100 and the humidity was a killer. Was it hot???

Good weekend. 400f got first in the Ride-Em, Don't Hide Em, t-10 Suzuki 2nd in Saturday show and the Vespa Best of Show (European). Light crowd on Friday, good crowd on Saturday. Probably best attendance in about 4 years.

I was gonna go,but a concerned client with a pressing repair job for work and the fact that it was the first weather that it was fit to work outside in [heat] for a while made it pretty hard to turn down the opportunity to make a few $.
After I saw all the photos, it is gonna be on for next year . Looks to be a 3 hour trip --one way. Probably a good idea to book a room months in advance...
My wife, bless her, worries greatly about me taking the old beater of a bike so far away, and offered to take me in the cage, but holy crap, the cost of getting in the gate! $70 for two people seems pretty high. We have had to tighten up our pocketbook a lot since I have managed to deplete our HSA 2 years in a row with surgeries. Gotta love her attitude, even though she hates bikes...
It probably would be worthwhile to join the AMA and get insurance to tow the bike for repair if I would get stranded on the road. Or just be smart and take the cage, but where is the fun in that??
Thanks for the photos. Looks like a place where I would fit in. Any other bike show I have seen is all Harley all the time.

Just got back from Vintage Days. WOW, I'm going every year from here on out! It's everything I heard it was. Didn't find a couple of things I was looking for but found a few things I couldn't live with out! I met member 736 on Friday and bought a tank from him. I only could talk to him for a minute he was pretty busy. In fact anyone selling CB750 stuff seemed to be doing a brisk business. Weather was GREAT!

Sorry I'm so late getting up to speed, work's a btch.

Whoa, thank you zzpete for the pics.  I'm standing next to the red one telling my wife it's a $5,000 or $8,000  bike.  Seller tells me it sold yesterday, Thursday, for $2,000 and the blue for $3,000.  I think I peed myself.   I walk across the path and find THREE more restorations and hear the seller say he sold all three, bundled, on Thursday, for $10,500 cash, $3,500 each.  "It's better than waiting around to see if they sell."

So I go up to the parking field and pass a trailer with ELEVEN CB750K's tied up in a beautiful row for travel.  Somebody else notices and tells me they are going to France.  We talked about how sad it was that the best is going out of the country.

You have to rent a vendor space to get in honestly on Thursday and carry cash if you want to take the best home.

This was my third trip.  I love it.  It's like being dropped into the 1970's.

Thursday is a drive day, eight hours, rainy.

Friday is spent trying to traverse a giant field of rusty motorcycle parts, no time for any thing else.  The steakhouse is Brown Derby Roadhouse and if you follow that road towards Mansfield, it becomes West Park Avenue.  This is important because there is boulevard racing that you shouldn't miss.  You'll see people on the sidewalks in lawn chairs for this.

Saturday is the judging were I take in the infield tents, VJMC, AMA, and marque.  And of course, each trip to the parking involves a walk through rusty motorcycle parts.  Saturday night,  AMA runs dirt track at one of the county fair grounds for $20 each.  If you've never seen dirt tracking live, you won't be disappointed.

Sunday is vintage racing.  Bring a chair, cigars, beer and big hat.  Chill.  I don't think there is a way to follow vintage racing.  It was just a beautiful day at the race course.

Monday, eight hours home.

Yes, I'll be there again.
