Cb350 petcock
« on: April 24, 2012, 08:36:57 PM »
I'm using a CB350 Cb360 fuel tank on a Cafe Racer project.
My question is, the petcock has (2) fuel barbs. Is one for running and the other for reserve? I'm used to CB550's where there are only one barb from the petcock.

Hi Doug,
They're both equal made to feed the twin CB350 carbs and the petcock will feed both of those outlets for the "On" position as well as "Reserve".

Great!! thank you. Never had a CB360 tank before. The tank is going on a CB550K with 4 carbs. Wasn't sure how to set it up.

The CB550K has only one fuel inlet hose on the carbs ?

I have a '76 CB550F and it only has one barb, the "K" might have 2.     Doug

Doug,
Is the CB350 petcock going onto you're K or F ? The 2 outlet fuel lines will work excellent on the K if it has 2 fuel lines on the carbs...otherwise it would be good to install a T fitting so you get maximum flow at High Speed.

The bike started out as a "k" but not sure what carb setup i'm putting on it. Stripping it down to the frame and working up from there. I guess the (2) feed carbs would work best. Which one had them?
