Visitor from Oz... and some opinions of our website
« on: June 08, 2006, 07:03:24 PM »
Got a visitor from Australia today looking for engine cases.  HoponaHonda (Dave Genge) (seems to know Twrry) bought a T-shirt, but I felt like we should have a shirt that says. " I traveled 5,000 miles to Asheville and all I got was this stinky shirt ?!"  The worst part is that now somebody on this forum knows what I look like.  When that dawned on me, I ran out to kill him but the squealing tires said I'd never catch him...

Anyhoo- after 26 years, we finally have a website-  www.strickscycle.com   I'd like to hear any critiques or advice to take to the boss, if anyone feels like taking the time.  Sorry, no 750 cases.
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

Nice and clean site

Good use of "key words" in your home page text. Very good! ;D ;D

Good meta tags "<title>Strick's Cycle Shop - Independent Motorcycle Repair and Service in Asheville NC</title>
<LINK href="strick.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css">
<meta name="keywords" content="Motorcycle, Repair, WNC, Asheville, Honda, Strick, Cycle">

There are ways of massaging these tags on your home page and other sub pages to enhance your key word searchability success. 8)

Michel, sportbars usually have more light than the regular bars.  You're right- the type seems a tad small.

Anyhoo, I'm a little diappointed that there wasn't any criticism.  I guess the hell we put the webpage guy through actually paid off!

Thanks, all. There's really no reason for us to have a website, but we do have killer T-shirts.
