Anybody recognize this frame?
« on: April 25, 2012, 12:17:45 AM »
I think the engine is a '72 CB750.  Know nothing about the frame other than it is of an ugly colour.

So, my garage is packed too tight to get a full side view of this frame. I'll move some bikes around tomorrow. For now, I have a couple shots that are too close.

Its not a Jammer..  That should be enough pics to tell the tale, but there were many makers of them, and many more have joined the fray.. in the last decade. the sprocket side frame rail jogs outward, if its wider than the older frames it probably a more recent type.
Whats the problem with the color? people used to build choppers to "not blend into the CROWD"

I think its the Santee logo...searcg images on line should confirm it..
Was going to say, Chopper Bill brought in gobs of Santee stuff at his Canadian Chopper store.. I used to be a dealer for him... so there were probably a lot of Santee frames around B.C.

Is that the same roller one of the Night Fighters had for sale awhile ago? One of my friends sent me a pic of it if it's the one I'm thinking of, can't be two bright yellow 750's like that in the same town haha. Goi g to be a cool looking bike in the end.

I think that is a Santee because of the way the rear top engine mount is and also the shape of the oil tank under the seat. Santee also built a swingarm frame with basically the same front end with sickle shaped fender braces that the shocks attachs to.

the logo is definitely santee same one on my electrical box. the frame also looks santee with someones custom touches. the santees had a taller frame between tank and engine.it's a very good looking bike.like 754 said'' "people used to build choppers to "not blend into the CROWD".

Blackhole, that Ms Pacman is broken. I have a working cocktail version. I need to fix that standup, but it's in line behind this chopper, a CB350, a CB550, a 250 Montesa, Tommy pinball, a couple mini bikes, a pinball machine I'm building themed out for my band, and probably a million other projects.

I sent a picture to a friend where it looked like Ms Pacman was sitting on that chopper. Then I thought about the dots in the metal work and the yellow frame and I want to do this bike in a Ms Pacman theme. Seems. Really funny to me
