1981 CB900F

1981 CB900F. Bought as a work bike. 22K miles. All original except paint. Sounds like cam chain(s) is rattling, plus there is popping in exhaust when reving. Think I need to sync carbs and adjust chains. What will cause the popping?

I ran some Seafoam through tank. Need to change plugs out ASAP. Cheap insurance

I recommend removing the carbs. and cleaning out All the passages and flushing out the tank to remove the fine sediment on the bottom of it that will clog you're small passages in the carbs.
