Even if you buy from the guy that makes them (Bartel) there is a long wait, look at some of the related posts.

I just bought a CR tank set from Bartell, with a 47-ish week back order.  If the world doesn't end in 2012, I should be seeing it early 2013.

Budamotor Racing?  I can't tell for certain because their site is currently blocked by Google and my web content filter as being harmful to my computer.  But these are the guys who sell vintage replica drum brakes.

cant really remember if these are budamotor, might be, there are quite few guys in hungary/eastern europe doing all sorts replica parts.  their prices are always cheaper than western europe

if money is not a problem, there is (but not for long) Eugenio Libanore, the guy who used to do stuff for MV, Guzzi, NSU and others in the 50's......

his workshop is near where i work in monza.

only problem is that 70's stuff is too new for hime, would require quite  a lot of sweet talking to convince him to do a CR750....

I don't know what a tank is worth. I'm building the bike and racing it to promote his business. Send Denis an email, or call him, and tell him I sent you.

From the contact page on his website:

cmrracingproducts@gmail.com

613-967-8112

"The best time to reach Denis by phone, personally is between 8:30PM and 10:00PM Eastern Standard Time in North America. You can call us anytime and either speak to Lindi or leave a voice-mail message. We will return your call promptly, so please tell us the preferred time to call you.

Good luck, and keep us posted!

TimV

PS the frame shown above will take a CB350/450 twin and 350/400/550 four.

I just got an exciting phone call from Ireland.  Mr Moyce had a German customer default on payment for a set of CR750 Oil and Fuel tanks.  I pre-paid for mine back in February, and am apparently next in line.  It looks like will have a set of tanks shipping out Express Air sometime this week, along with his diagrams for brackets, etc.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm literally hopping around the office.  To say that I am ecstatic as a kid just before Christmas would be a huge understatement.
I have respected and admired Asa Moyer's work for more than 20 years.  Over the phone, I bashfully asked if he would be willing to sign the underside of the tank before shipping.  I think he was OK with that.  ;D

The tanks are arriving about three months ahead of schedule, which means that I am going to have to crank it up on building this CB, and get that crankshaft shipped off ASAP.

I'll post pics when they arrive.

My girl and my tanks.  Happy feeling to have two favorite things in one pic.  =)  She's a good sport.

These are the tanks made by Asa Moyce of Bartel Engenering in Donaghadee,  Ireland, the manufacture for Meadspeed.

Speaking with him on the phone sounds like he is making plans for retirement.  His wait time is a bit less than a year.  He does not have a website nor email, but feel free to PM me if you need his contact info.

happy day.
