Cafe Racer TV - Quater Mile
« on: April 27, 2012, 02:34:58 pm »
Did you guys see this weeks show? Some guy had a CB 750 Engine built 30yrs ago to  a 936, I never heard of a 936. Anyway the first pass they did was 97 mph. Is that fast, the 2nd pass was 108 mph after they changed the jets from the plastic ones they had to some metal jets. Your thoughts

Matt
PS- My Mike R 836 will smoke that thing 8)

The cover of the mag said, "10 second CB750." On our local proxy-track and with my bulk aboard, my 836 ran a 10.74 at 120mph, so it's certainly possible - just not on a bike that's that poorly executed.

However, he was really proud of his Gordon frame kit.

Take care,
David

That is what I'm talking about. The guy said he needed a pro to ride the thing because it was going to be to fast to shift. I am positive he has not been on a bike for over 30yrs.
