So I'm going to the Oley Swap tomorrow morning (and i should have posted this earlier), but basically if I can find a nice set of old Koni shocks that were on a bike of about the same weight as mine what are the odds they will 'fit' (assuming they are the same length)? how standardized were the clevis hole diameters etc... thank you much for the help!
..and if its relevant I am looking for shocks for my 1975 550 super sport
