Low Style Stock Seats

I'll post some pics of the type of seat that I'm talking about, but it seems I primarily see them on Japanese bikes...let me rephrase that...bikes in Japan.

Did they have a different type of stock seat that they could get out there? Or are all of these just cutaways and modified seat covers..? I like the look a lot.

Any half decent upholsterer should be able to make you up a seat like those, i like them as well.....

pretty common for '70's superbike/production class racers....class rules dictated stock/ish bodywork

Ahhhh...that totally makes sense. For some reason it never clicked with me that stock"ish" bodywork included seat.

Anyway, I'm a big fan of the stock looking, but slightly modified seat. I love the look of both the yellow and orange cb750s I put into the first post.

It also helps people with short legs. The 750s are very tall.
