I was at the Ace Hardware near my Dad's in Dubuque on Tuesday and spotted this in the window.

Thanks Johnie. I'm not on the Forum as often as I used to be and so didn't see those threads.

I have a friend who owns an Ace, I'm going to have to have him get me one.

Hey, I think that's a picture of me on my K1 with my biker chic in 1971! :o

Except, it looks like the tires must be inflated to about 90 PSI... :D

Just don't go in acting like a dick and expecting someone to wait on you hand and foot, like the rest of america, and they will gladly take the poster and give it to you ;)

trust me on this.

The local Ace Hardware in town closed last year and I miss the place.  Always had someone around to ask questions to.  May have been a little higher than some places, but plenty worth it.  Still have the Rural King for all of the stuff I need, but you can't get any help.  They always have popcorn.
Some days the sun is too loud.

I'm going to ask "Frank" the 100 year old owner of our local ACE hardware if I can "have" his poster when he's done promoting that "Soul Paint". Of course I will bring the K3 in the pursuit of this poster for the new MC garage.  8)

CB750 invades popular culture again.  By the way, did anyone see the music video for "for the first time" by the script?  The bike that the messenger uses is a... wait for it... CB750!  He sells it at the end for like $600 bucks :(

I don't need no stinkin' key....well, except maybe on the post -1976 bikes where it locks the tree... :)

UPDATE: Frank doesn't have the poster, he never got it from ACE.... so I told him I must be the first person that has EVER come into his store and NOT been able to find what I was looking for. Ol Frank looked at me, looked down and then said "I might be right" LOL

Do a search for the Ace Hardware in your area. That is what I did and I checked them all. Ended up with a brand new one and got another I gave to hoodleyhoo. But it helped to check to see if they have it first. I took in a picture of it. Some stores never even put it up. Mine was still in the box.

Good idea John. I'll have to call around the Omaha area and "check" it out.
