Candy Jet Green
« on: April 26, 2012, 03:58:45 PM »
Bike is in pieces and has been ready for paint for weeks, but I can't decide on what I want to do for paint.  Have seen a lot of cool looking CB's in green, but they are usually sun faded and not really an indication of what a new job might end up looking like.

Based on the spookytom website everyone references for paint, "candy jet green" seems to be the closest to what I want (don't even know if this was original on 750's, and it is not available on vintagehondapaint where I planned on ordering).  Bacchus olive ranges from pretty good to pretty awful depending on the paint job and pics.  Candy jade looks straight off a fiberglass bodied vw dunebuggy.

Basically, post some good pics of your green bike! tia

Everyone sees blue and green differently, but I like my green to have a lot of blue in it.

66 color Joplin Mo matches colors and their K2 paint is easier for an amatuer.  Just an opinion but KAWAS are Green  Hondas are RED stated by Mrs. Young as I atarted to paint my bike blue.  It is candy red from the 77 color pallet.

Love my Candy Jade Green!

Cool man!  Thanks for the pics.  Is there any flake to it or does it look like a solid color?

The valley green has a sweet vintage look, but want something a little darker.

Thanks for the pics, keep em coming I think this might be a decent reference for anybody else wondering (assuming the search ever works)

derelicte....I do have another close pic of that K3 olive green attached. I admit I am a fan of the brighter colors like my sunflake orange and candy gold, but since getting this K3 I really have begun to like that color. The dark green with the metal flake give it a really neat look in the sun.

Freedom green if you want a darker green.  To me, it maintains that vintage/classic look without being to bright.
