'76 CB750F. By chance I still had the spare one strapped to my bike from our ride to Barber last year so I was able to fix it on the side of the road just now. I was able to get home, but it is by no means up to a 600+ mile trip this weekend. Where can I get one on such short notice? Motion Pro express shipping gets it here by the 7th. We leave on the 5th!!! HELP!

The spare I had is used and stretched out. Not frayed, but really long.

I have some NOS cables from Motion Pro in my storage here, do you know the correct part# for it ? If I have one I will be able to put it into an envelope for USPS 1 day shipping if you have Paypal.

Edit: I just checked the Motion Pro book that I have in my Apt. and the Pull cable for your bike(which I'm just not certain if I have..) is Motion Pro# 02-0007

John,
Do you have a spare cable from you're bike that Tugboat can use ? He told me it could be interchangeable w/ the CB500/550.

Tug...... I'll pull the 2 cables off my K4 parts bike and look them over, should be the same part # , yes ?
Anyone know the 'un-stretched ' length of a stock throttle ( pull ) inner cable ( just for reference ) so I can tell how good/bad the one I have here is ?
If your sure it's a carb problem; it's ignition,

LOL!!!! :)

First, I've gotta give a shout-out to Andrew Duthie over at Nashville Motorcycle Repair. This guy set up shop a little over a year ago and has quickly become one of the go-to dudes in town for bike work. After I was unable to even order a cable through THE HONDA DEALER DOWN THE STREET that would get here by Friday - and this was on a Wednesday afternoon at around 2pm mind you - Andrew was able to order a couple of Motion Pro's from his distributor and they *should* be here Friday afternoon. Super guy, great work and great work ethic.

Second, as per usual, that crazy Spanner1 comes through with a decent used cable off his K4 parts bike. Seriously, this guy has saved my a$$ several times and I owe him bigtime. Ray, I got your beers this weekend!
