I ride with rearsets. After making the change to clubman/clip ons, at 6' with 31" inseam, it was damn necessary.

...and do you like them. I have a CB750 I Cafe'd and am still using my stock pegs. People are constantly telling me that it would be a lot more comfy with rearsets.I have "mocked up" rear sets on several occasions and never find it comfortable. I put my bike on the center stand and rested my feet on jack stands at various locations trying to find where to put them. But no matter where I put my feet it seems scrunched up and very uncomfortable.I am 6'3" and have a 33" inseam if that means anything.

What am I missing? :-\

And for what its worth, riding with clubmans and stock pegs is not all bad.I can rest my elbows on my knees while riding and it takes the load off my hands. After the first 75-100 miles the clubmans do work on the palms of your hands with you putting so much weight on them.I do have another seat of "pegs" that stick out from my rear lower shock mounts. I stretch out on those, chest and chin on the tank and can ride for a fuel tank of fuel in complete comfort like that. But the fumes from the gas cap wander into my helmet pretty bad at times :o

I have to admit that they do look freakin' cool! But before I go buy material to build a set I want to know it's worthwhile. Again,I'm not racing or just putting around town.I like to gout and ride for several hours at a time.Sometimes 200+ miles a day.

Any personal experience here? Thanks in advance!

Honestly, if you can ride 200+ miles and not have any pain issues, don't bother even thinking about rearsets and stick with what you've got!  :D

With the first Cafe I built up, I used clip-ons and kept the stock pegs. I am 6'1 and would have liked to put rearsets on the bike. If I had kept it, I probably would have gone with Tarrozi's. BUT - That's ME and MY back. Your back may be different. Do you ever find yourself moving your feet on the pegs so that you just have your toes hanging on them? If so, try something that will be bolt on. If not, don't worry about it.  :)

LOL.After growing up riding dirt bikes I find myself keeping my toes ON the pegs. I can still hear my Dad when I was young:"Keep your toes on the pegs!...you'll break your ankles!

The setup that tango has looks good to me. Alot of the rearsets I've seen seem to mount way up high. They ARE farther back, but being so high seems like they would feel crowded.
The darn fool didn't know it couldn't be done...so he went ahead and did it anyway.

No rearsets here...CB750 with guiliari seat (makes a big difference over stock seat as its lower) and tomesselli bars (again great angle on the bars). I am 6`4, 36` inseam and long arms. Bike fits like a glove with stock pegs. I ride 300+ mile days on this bike with no complaints.
