Weeping fuel....
« on: March 28, 2013, 12:09:00 PM »
What is different about the carb that feed cylinder number 1. Both of my 750A are weeping fuel from somewhere just above the fuel bowl on the far left carb. The other three carbs stay dry as a bone.
Both bikes sat for like 10 years before I got them. Had the carbs cleaned last year before I started ridding them and they both run great but they seep fuel from the left side carb and I can't find it.
 Any ideas?

Im experiencing the same issue. leaks a bit of fuel from #1 and #2( i can tell from the gas stain on my pants legs) but it's not leaking from the float bowls. so far my guess is that it will need new seal on it  :s

I would think that whoever cleaned your carbs forgot to put that small washer back in the carb.
