Topic: cb750f ss tank on to a CB550F?

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone knows for sure if a early 70's cb750F tank would bolt straight on to a 75 CB 550F bike without any mods to the frame?

I understand that the frames of both bikes are very close if not the same dimentions.

Tank may fit but doubtful with 550 seat and is the petcock on the same side?
