What's your favorite forum section?
« on: May 06, 2012, 07:48:52 AM »
For me it has to be -  Lets see your sohc out on the road! It was started by Andy750 back in Jan.13, 2009. This was about 10 months before I got back into the sohc4 world after being out of it for over 30 years. I got my 1976 CB750 in Nov.2009 and joined this forum about  the same time. Project shop and What did you do to your bike today run a close 2nd, being very informative and helpful on your own bike or bikes. I just love seeing pictures of all the members sohc bikes out and about doing what Mr Honda built them for. Beautiful countryside, breathtaking scenery of the USA and other countries. Most of us here are not professional photographers I'm sure not, but I encourage everyone to get out on the road and snap some photos while you are. It doesn't have to be a 1000 mile trip to get some good pics, but if your a long mileage guy that likes to cover some pavement and your sohc bike is up for it than have at it, but it can be 10 miles down the road from your house. ;D If you look back at past threads you will see quite a few pics of my KO and K6. Nothing special just me and my bikes, but most all are in a radius of no more than a 100 miles at the most from my house.

Thanks Andy for started this! Lets see your sohc on the road ;)

Very fond of the Let's see your bike as well.  It's great to see these old bikes on the road, all around the world.  Also really like the What did you do to your bike today?  A great place to share little bits of progress, and even vent your frustrations!

I though you meant section, not thread.

Have you checked out the open forum, where this thread belongs?

I like the Open Forum and yeah I check it out all the time. But I think what I'm talking about belongs right here, but if Gordon the moderator thinks it needs to be moved I guess he'll move it ;) Thanks for your concern ::) So what's your favorite Tom?

SOHC/4 Bikes.  It is the reason for the forum's existence and the reason why a lot of these bikes are still on the road. A close second are the World Tour and Travelers section.  They are about what the bikes are for.  Everything else is diversion, pleasant though of them may be.

Project Shop is my first love, it's where I fell in love with CB cafe racers!  But now that I OWN one, SOHC forum is fast becoming my favorite.

I personally enjoy the Abandoned Thread, Lets' See Your Bike on the Road and I read Tips and Tricks to work on my own bike.
I visit the Babe Thread when someone posts to see if that person abides by the rules. I also go in to make posts. I spend less time there than anywhere else, and I make more posts in other places. You may see 20 pictures, but they are all in only one post.
