78 CB750F Steering stem nut size?
« on: May 06, 2012, 05:33:02 pm »
Search function isn't working for me right now......

Anybody know the size of the steering stem nut on the top of the tripple?

I'm changing out my top tripple tree and don't have a socket or anything that big and need to go buy one.

Thanks!

Just checked (any excuse to head out to the garage),

Calipers read 30mm.

I also googled the part number (95020-11300) and nothing turns up but Nut A3, Steering Stem

Thank you Colorado!  Don't have calipers, this helped a lot.

No problem, honestly once I got one, a caliper is one of my more used tools. It makes matching random parts to the shop manual real easy.

This is what I have, Sears Item# 00940892000
