Anyone know what these are? Do you want them?
« on: May 06, 2012, 10:56:55 am »
I got these in an auction for a shload of Honda brake parts and am not sure what they are. They appear to be for a dual brake set-up of some sort. The hoses are clear and flexible with no signs of cracking or splitting; they seem to be in pretty good shape.

I have no need for them and they seem to be a pretty specialized part, so if you want them, let me know; otherwise they're garbage fodder.

Dang! I never get the brown ones!   ;D ;D ;D

I guess since no one recognizes these they're outa here. Thanks for looking!

Glad to hear you don't need them tom!  ;D  Actually, any part becomes "used" the minute you put it on your bike; after that, it depends on how long you "use" it for. These appear to be in pretty good condition, and hardly "used" at all, so it just seemed a shame to toss them if anyone needed them. I buy new or refurbish myself; not everyone has that opportunity...

If you value your skin, there are three places to never and I mean never, go the cheap and used route. Never use used brake parts like hoses unless you know the personal history of the parts, how old they are, what bike they came from, why the previous owner discarded them, etc. The same holds true for tires and helmets.

My skin and life are way too precious to risk just to save a few bucks.

Except the day you picked your bike up (or put new ones on). , we are all  running on USED brakelines...

I bet they look better than the cracked ones on my everyday ride..
