Hey guys, new CBer here
« on: April 23, 2012, 08:14:15 PM »
Yep, I got a steal of a deal on a 1976 CB750 and figure I'll fix it up good.

I normally ride a Suzuki DR650 but have had many bikes and am always looking to bite off more than I can chew.

I used to have a Suzuki Savage and still serve as a moderator on that forum.  I used to have a Honda CRF230L and set up a Simplemachines forum for that (about 1/1000th as popular as this one).

I know a couple of guys on here already, either from other sites or in real life.  Verslagen1, jesus freek, Pecantree, and probably a couple more guys with whom I bought/sold parts to get ready to refurb my bike.  Oh yeah, here it is, just as I bought it:

This site seems loaded with info and I hope to read and absorb enough to do a good job on my CB.
Cheers,
John

Damn Stev-o, another one slipped through your fingers!
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

You don't want that really expensive one on CL now? Doesn't look too bad if you can talk him down a bit.
The green 350F looks nice, it too is pricey.

No, don't want that expensive 400 or any 350. It will have to be a good deal 400f with that sexy 4 into 1 stock header!
