Polynesian Blue.  Hino - could you be so kind to post a pic and refresh my memory of the model year this was available?
I plan to paint my K1 this color.

Stev-o, the year was 1971 both for the CB750 and CB450, color code:EG

I believe this to be an original surviving Polynesian blue example: (photo taken in Japan)

My side covers were redone and or replaced, I can see the original color on the back.  The darker blue is a poor match and I can't figure out  the PO's reasons to repaint them. I found one side cover with matching original color. The paint on the tank  is in pretty good shape, except the tank has a couple krinks by the head tube and a few wavy spots. I saw a really nice one with the same paint on e-bay but snoozed through the closing bids.

Either way, I like this blue, not sure the color code or name.

Your bike looks like a 1974 CL450 K6 scrambler. If so, then the color is: candy sapphire blue. Color code: PB3-C

A '74 correct, and a bit brighter than the poly blue, Thanks.
