Honda until fairly recently it appears. Try CMSNL.com. They still have a number of the discontinued parts but they can be VERY proud ($$$) of their unobtanium inventory like $400+ euros for a NOS speedo. I think those pistons had been listing for ~ $75 each retail. They actually list the entire rear caliper assembly if you want one bad enough. Saw it last night. Might be the way to go in lieu of paying $150+ for 2 pistons. The 75/76 Goldwing uses the same basic rear brake system too. Perhaps search EBay under 75/76 CB750F or 75/76 GL1000.

thanks for the reply guys but neither source has the pistons. I search ebay every day. This little problem is holding up the whole project. The search continues......

Saw some for the 77/78 F but not the 75/76 F. Is there a direct link to it?

I know Carpy has some pistons but I don't know if they are for your bike. cb750cafe.com
Should be a pretty simple job for a machine shop but probably fairly pricey.
So much to do, so little time.

Thanks for your leads but still no luck. K&L does not make them for 75/76 which I believe is the only years with spokes and disc. Also tried David sliver spares in UK. HELP! Whole project is on hold as the rear wheel can not be mounted without brake caliper >:(

Search EBay for a 75-77 GL1000 rear brake caliper. Uses the same pistons and they are plentiful. Scavenge the pistons. They are going for cheap! Check out the masters also. They are the same except they do not not the "stop" built on for the brake line.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=gl1000+rear+brake+caliper+&_sacat=0&_odkw=gl1000+rear+brake+caliper+piston&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

Update: The GL rear master has a piece inside the threads for the GL brake line. It apparently butts up against a metal piece/brake line like those found on our front caliper and the banjo will NOT thread in all the way. One of my next projects will be to see how we can safely remove that insert so that we may use the GL rear masters but it's low priority for a while.

Please let us know your outcome! If it's good we need to send business their way to keep them going.

Just a heads up, i just bought 2 rear pistons for my 76 750f from prostores.  Wingovations has been backordered since forever.  Received them in a couple of days and they look awsome.
