i need headlight ears on a 77 750 k that i just bought. it came with a vetter ferring on it and i dont want that ugly thing on there. anyway it didnt have the headlight ears on anymore. im shopping on ebay for some and im wondering if the ears from a 77 550f are the same. they sure look the same. after closely examining many photos ive concluded they are but i really cant be positive. the seller measured them for me and they are 6 1/4 between the fork bridges not including however thick the cushion spacers are. the bridges on my 750 is 7" between. i think that is prob gonna work. but are the fork tube diameters the same? also does anybody have a link to a good site somewhere that is a good reliable source for part interchangability of motorcycles. i could really use one so that i dont hafta feel so ignorant and post what some prob consider a really stupid question . thanks.
