Carb Id?
« on: April 26, 2012, 01:41:01 PM »
Can anyone tell me what model carb comes on the 1976 CB750 F1 SS? I'm trying to buy some bigger jets and can't figure which type I need. I know I want 42 pilots but for which carb?

Not quite what I'm looking for. Sudco lists things like Keihin CR, PJ, PWK, pwk28, ect....

The 1976 F1 SS comes with a 1976 F1 SS carb. LOl...lol
Had to say that. LOL

Just order a idle jet  for your 1976 CB750. Thats all.

Sudco requires more technical identification and is unfortunately too lazy to look the part up by year and model. the carb id stamped on the body isn't enough either.

Don't know why it's so difficult, but big thanks to the member who came up with the jets I need.

Lucky: thanks for the laughs, that would be pretty funny if I hadn't already tried that. Wow, almost 2000 posts in under a year are they all this helpful?

Any reason why you don't get your jets from here?

Or, just use the Keihin jet number found in those links (KEIHIN JETS 99124-07 ) to buy from sudco.
Or, hope the jets used in sudco's PE carbs have the same threads; N424-22-019-033 (if I read their look up chart correctly).

Thanks TT. Sudco was recommended and when they proved to be unhelpful I guess I got frustrated and someone came through for me. So the search stopped there.

I never claimed to be a google master, just truly grateful for genuine help like yours and others here and intolerant of mocking by people with nothing to add.
