leaking oil pan.....

so my oil pan is leaking and my clutch cover.... soo what should i do

go to homedepot and buy some gasket sheets and cut my own gaskets out or buy a gasket kit for the bike

found this on fleabay is it any good?

actually come to think about it the oil pan gasket is like a big circle gasket thing.... i might just drop the pan clean it well and try and put it back on. its like a big O ring right? or do these gaskets get bad too?

the side gasket for the clutch cover there was a small tear on the section of the gasket that is leaking so is there a good gasket paste or something i can use? any recommendations?

long time no post xsmooth,,get a new clutch cover gasket and try like you said to clean the groove the pan rubber gasket sits in and run that rubber gasket through some rag checking it for tears or nicks,,ive never replaced a pan gasket,i must just be lucky though,tighten those pans bolts in an even criss cross fashion snug bit by bit,,then just a little more they dont need to be winched up like wheel nuts!your pan might not even be leaking,the other leak might be trickling down onto that area?

i know dave500!!!! i just got done with finals for the semester and the weather is nice so im hitting the bike hard and hopefully finishing up soon!!!!!

still talking pics for the build thread and will be updating that soon tooooo

so ive been reading and i think ill make my own gasket......

unless someone can give me a link thats here in the states where i can buy a decent priced clutch cover gasket   :D
