Hi! Front brake cable is about 48", Clutch is 41" outer cable length and 46" total, speedo is 32" +/-. Didn't remove the throttle but it must be the stock one. Let me know what you have and prices please. Shipping would be to Victoria, B.C., Canada, V8X 5J2.  Thanks!  Cliff.

Cliff, I will check the cables this afternoon and let you know.  I know I don't have a speedo cable.  I need one myself.

Darn Cliff, looks like none of mine will work.  At least you'll know of a few to stay away from.  Ebay has most of them available from Thailand...if you dare.

Having trouble finding a box that won't cost an arm and a leg to ship Cliff.  They're an odd shape.

Not to hijack or interject - Sam pointed me to this thread in response to an endless stream of questions from me.

I'm working on my 1966 C95 in Toronto - just out being dip-strip and painted white, engine is getting fresh +0.25 pistons and a valve job, cases are being blasted and I'll be putting it all back together again with luck in the coming weeks.

Having read the discussion on geographic differences from model to model I thought I'd share a few of the 'before' pics of mine showing the engine and the tail light.  So far as I know this bike has been in Canada forever.  4 signal lights, no front brake light switch, bench seat.

BTW - can these rear shocks be disassembled?  I've seen metal shrouds for sale on eBay that suggest its possible to replace them.  I need to magically turn my pitted chrome red shocks into shiny chrome white shocks :)

Thanks for the pictures Tim, they show the clutch cable entering through the front case instead of the rear and at a completly different angle, makes me wonder if there are any hidden supprises in side.

Find a guy named Spokes in this forum, he has rebuilt many shocks and has some pictures.

Interesting that you would point that out Sam.  My C95 looks similar to Tim's as to how the clutch cable attaches to the case, so it may be the way they were "here".  Looking at the parts fisch and the shop manual, it looks like the other way that you describe shows the bracket on the case is angled towards the rear rather than the forward tilt as on mine and Tim's.

That's right, it goes through the sprocket cover not the generator cover and is angled completly different.

Need some help please. I finally pulled the motor out of the frame and started a tear down to check it out. I'm stuck at pulling the rotor. Can you tell me what size of bolt I can use as a puller? It seem like an odd size, maybe 13 mm across the threads. Thanks guys. Cliff.
Ooops, found the answer on the CA95 Forum, I think.   :-[ Either pull the rear axle and use it or a 14 mm x 1.5 bolt.  Cliff.

Got it with a 750 swing arm pivot bolt. It pays to have tubs of spares laying around. Cliff.

G'day Magpie,
I have restored a few Benlys over the last few years (but I've since moved on to models with 2 more cylinders). The most obvious difference between the C95 and CA95 is the lack of blinkers on CA95. All C95 motors I've come across here in Oz have all had 2 bearing cranks. I believe the CA95s had 3 bearing cranks. Engines with 3 bearing cranks have a 'depression' cast in the top case (below the carb). Also the CA have a tach drive off the camshaft and "Power Jet" carb.
Here is my last resto, a 64 C92.

Good luck with your C95, the final result will be worthwhile.
