I've ridden Avons and bridgestones and like them both. The bridgestones seem to grip better at lower temps, and also do well when all warmed up. I think they might suffer on a track though. The Avons grip well at lower temps, but really come into their own when warmed up.  I've put just over 6k on my Avons and likely have 4k left. I ride them really hard too, and put on 1k with a pillion abd luggage (roughly 800 pounds overall). Considering all that abuse, I'll buy Avons for my next tires too since they perform and last well. This is on a 350f and 400f. I've put time in with Avons on more of the same bikes as well as other CBs and came away with the same impressions.

FYI, the michelins on my triumph sprint blow these away for handling and longevity.
