Antique Bike Meet
« on: June 12, 2006, 07:37:10 AM »
Yesterday, I rode down to the Antique Bike Meet at the Gilmore Car Museum in Richland, MI. Those of you who missed it, really missed it! The weather was beautiful (low 70's), there was a huge crowd (Yes, Bob, I talked to some people from Ann Arbor who rode in), and the selection and quality of bikes was superb. The Gilmore car museum is a huge and rare collection, so when we got hot, we were able to go inside and look at cars...a total blast ...catch it next year. Richland is exactly between Detroit and Chicago, just North East of Kalamazoo...
Oh, next weekend, we have Antique Bike racing at Grattan Speedway, 1/2 East of Grand Rapids!

There were also some pretty silly items there...a motorcycle powered lawnmower...a rocket ship...a motorized Tricycle, a Minitrail, with a Triumph 650 engine stuffed into it!
See Antique Bike Meet cont....
