Topic: Fork Seals.

I replaced my fork seals with all-balls fork seals after giving my tubes a good cleaning. I even gave them a polish with a soft cotton buffing pad and some ultra fine finishing compound. I checked for straightness the best I could and I also made sure there were no scratches. Guess what? Seepage. Very little, but enough to bother me. Any Ideas? The seals are in straight and again no visible damage or rough spots anywhere. Fork oil is 10w.

I dont believe so. I dont remember I rebuilt them months ago. The leak has gotten way worse. I mean its all over the left tube after a 20 mile ride.

If you're sure you have no burrs on the pipe...
It may be a grain of something got inside the seal.... as was recently discussed, how about trying to clean 'em. Others have had success....
