Ready to rebuild my carbs, tuning questions
« on: May 14, 2012, 07:58:34 PM »
I'm ready to rebuild my 74' cb750 carbs. I'm rebuilding the entire bike (painting the frame now). I'll be running pod filters and a 4 into 1 exhaust with no baffle/muffler, so straight headers into a megaphone. Will I be able to tune the carbs with the stock needles just by changing the clip position and experimenting with different main jet sizes? If I need to get different needles or something to install I want to know now so I can be ready for it! Thanks for any tips

get new boots, you're gonna have those carbs on and off a bunch in the next week or so. Good luck.
