What do you check when you start up the bike in spring?
« on: May 20, 2012, 04:32:22 PM »
I did a visual inspection, topped up with fresh gas, checked pressure in the tires, wiped all the cobwebs and dust off, put my battery in (it was on a tender all winter), and checked to make sure all the lights and blinkers work. I also checked each pipe to make sure it was hot. Started on the third kick, which I think is pretty good for a bike sitting all winter. It sounds pretty much like it did last year, like a badass sewing machine. I did the 3000 mile tuneup stuff last summer so I am happy with it. I should probably lube the chain and change the oil.

1976 750F is my bike.
